Chiefs would be undefeated all time if not for the refs

I am not superstitious and I don't believe in bad juju. The patriots didn't run into bad juju. They ran into Master Spags.
I couldn't care less if the Chiefs go undefeated. The SB is all that matters. That being said, going undefeated and getting a 3 peat would be pretty ****ing cool, and something to rub in the haters' faces.

16-1 or 15-2 sounds good to me.

Only if we win the SB. The 3-peat is the main thing.

Probably has already been said, but they aren't going undefeated.
Early bye week all but guarantees Andy will sit starters in W18. |

You guys who think Reid is going to bench starters if we're 16-0 are delusional.

I don't give a **** about that. I want to win the Super Bowl. If a key starter got hurt in week 18 chasing this meaningless crap it would be the worst thing ever.

Win in Buffalo in a few weeks and the talk will really pick up. Win that game in Buffalo, we likely have a 3+ game lead for the 1 seed against all the primary competitors (Bills, Ravens, Texas). Will be interesting at that point if Reid starts to rest guys that are dinged up.
In regards to resting ALL the starters week 18 at Denver, If I had to guess they will likely treat it as a preseason game. Give the starters a drive or two. Two + weeks of no real game action is too long IMO. How often have we seen a 1 seed come out completely flat and rusty because they took 2 + weeks off for having 1 seed secured. |

Yeah this is probably where I land. Mahomes or Chris Jones blows out a knee week 18 taking on the Broncos playing balls to the wall for a 7 seed that is the most depressing thing ever. You let the backups go after it. Maybe give the starters a series or two.
