You are probably the only pragmatic Donkotard on this site....you HAVE to know horseface ****ed this negotiation up. Not only is he going to have to pony up much more than he wanted...he pissed off his star player in the process.

The more money Von extorts from that crap franchise..the better it is for KC..unless you suck at math.

He's always been an entitled, egomaniac...and it's showing hard this off-season. He's pissed off his two most important (arguably) players....losing one already.

Sanchez....

I imagine that name has come up between Miller and his agent.....

BTW it's usually best to spell "reeruned" correctly when trying to insinuate that someone is stupid....you know, for that extra dramatic flair. Just sayin..

I don't care about the money.

I'd like to see Von Miller leave the division.

KC just signed a RT that gave him one of the worst games of his career...completely shut him down.

http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/c...-tackle-102315

Neutralizing Broncos pass rusher Von Miller helped Mitchell Schwartz vault to the top of Pro Football Focus' right tackle ratings. Will a contract extension in Cleveland follow?

Schwartz earned a +1.9 grade for holding Miller to his worst pass rush grade of the season in Sunday's overtime loss to Denver, and now sits atop PFF's rankings for right tackles.

Honestly I think Von is great & ect.... But, I think the next generational pass rusher is going to be the guy who followed him a Texas A&M

PFF ranked the best front sevens in the league 1-32...

Quote:
1. Denver Broncos

Projected starters: DE Vance Walker, NT Sylvester Williams, DE Derek Wolfe; OLB Von Miller, OLB DeMarcus Ware; ILB Brandon Marshall, ILB Todd Davis

Other names to know: DE Jared Crick, DE Adam Gotsis; OLB Shaquil Barrett, OLB Shane Ray

Key stat: Denver recorded pressure on 48.9 percent of passing plays in their sub defense, the best mark in the NFL in 2015.

The reigning Super Bowl champions clinched the Lombardi Trophy with suffocating defense, and despite the loss of Malik Jackson (Jaguars) and Danny Trevathan (Bears), the Broncos still boast a powerful defensive front. Denver is led by a four-strong pack of pass-rushers, but defensive linemen like Walker, Wolfe, and Williams can both eat space to give their edge rushers room and capitalize when teams overcompensate to counter the threat of Miller, Ware, and company. Replacing Trevathan next to Brandon Marshall is the biggest challenge facing this defense.

O and by the way...........

Key stat: The Chiefs recorded pressure on 49.7 percent of third-down passing plays last season, the second-best rate in the league.

And that was without Houston for 6 games, a hobbled Hali, Poe taking time to get back to 100%, and Ford making his first few starts.

Technically, in game 1, Smith and the offense only put up 17.

Game 2 was a beatdown though, with 5 FGs and that flukish 81 yard bomb. Great play though. The big key in that win was the hammering on Manning and forcing the 5 TOs. The first 10 drives, only one had more than 3 plays. Broncos' defense received no help and no love from the offense that day. KC's defense throttled Manning, ushering in Houston's new QB.

Bc we blitzed.

With Houston we don't have to rush more than 5 players. NE killed us BC Ford couldn't finish a play and our blitzes had holes that Brady easily exploited.

PFF ranked the best secondaries in the league 1-32...

Quote:
1. Denver Broncos

Projected starters: CB Aqib Talib, CB Bradley Roby, SCB Chris Harris Jr., S T.J. Ward, S Darian Stewart

Other names to know: CB Kayvon Webster, CB Lorenzo Doss, S Shilo Keo, S Justin Simmons, S William Parks

Key stat: All five Denver starters ranked among the top 30 players in overall grade at their respective positions last season, the only team to do so.

Not only do the defending Super Bowl champions boast the top front-seven, but they also possess the league’s best secondary. Denver’s top three cornerbacks are the best trio of corners in the league, with all three finishing among the top 30 at the position in the NFL last season. Harris continues to be one of the NFL’s best cornerbacks, and excels in the slot. With Ward and Stewart at the safety positions, it’s tough for quarterbacks to find a weakness anywhere in the Broncos’ secondary.

Why paying Von Miller could be beginning of the end for Broncos
Paying Miller is the right thing to do. But is it the smart thing to do?

Does Von Miller deserve to be the highest-paid defensive player in the NFL?

Absolutely. Without a doubt. He has earned every penny. Without him, there’s no way the Broncos would have upset Cam Newton and Carolina to win Super Bowl 50.

But can Miller actually be worth nearly $20 million per season to the Broncos?

No way. No how. In the NFL, spending all that cash on anything except a quarterback is unlikely to provide a good return on investment.

And those two competing pieces of logic are my best explanation why it has taken forever for the Broncos to cut a deal with their 27-year-old linebacker.

Paying Miller is a math problem. It’s a problem that Denver has taken way too long to figure out, maybe because the numbers don’t compute.
We know where Von Miller is. But what is he going to do?

Somewhere between tugging on Superman’s cape at the Super Bowl and turning into an Elvis imitator on “Dancing with the Stars,” Miller grew larger than life and bigger than the team.

That’s a problem for the Broncos. And it’s a problem that has revealed the cracks in a championship organization. This is not meant as criticism of either franchise president Joe Ellis or general manager John Elway, who have done great work... (cont'd.)
