Over a month again Veach mentioned how good the draft was at DL. It’s a very strong group with solid talent.

I think we will double dip and get a couple of good players up front

I guess I’m less hopeful. Pass rushers usually take a couple years to develop. The bills double-dipped at DE last year with Rousseau and basham and grabbed epenesa the year before and their pass rush was still mediocre.

We could sign Melvin Ingram today and have basically the same pass rush as last year before the draft even starts.

You add Ingram and 2-3 early round pass rushers and it’s already a much deeper group.

I just don’t buy that it’s somehow going to be worse.

People do every year. They see a guy give up a TD in training camp or preseason and blow their brains out with a shotgun.

It's clockwork. Watch it happen this July/August.

You'll get people lamenting that we let Ward walk in free agency even though he gave up scores all the time in practice sessions. You might even see a few nutsos bitching at Veach for not re-signing Mathieu.

And he was non existent in the Steelers and Bengals games. I'll have to look up what he did against the Bills off the top I don't remember him doing much. Your opinion of course will change based off what Veach does.
