The Saints went 49-15. The Chiefs' regular season record during that same stretch was 48-16.

Sean Payton will make sure of that. Combined with the defense, it will give them a chance to improve quite a bit pretty quickly.”

Did I miss the part where the Broncos all sudden acquired Drew Brees and that saints roster from those years? The Broncos roster is absolute garbage and have traded away most of the draft capital needed to improve it, and are in cap hell on top of that.

Pointing to the Minneapolis Miracle as just a stroke of bad luck for Payton is hilariously reeruned. Even if Marcus Williams doesn't go full reerun Diggs still easily steps out of bounds and the Saints are well within range of a game winning FG.
