I never said that I don't find fault with anything Veach has done. I acknowledged that Moore was a miss, and that Hardman wasn't exactly a HR.

WR is absolutely a position that he's struggled with, but Rashee Rice completely destroyed the narrative that he "can't" draft WRs. That's just a fact.

There's nothing about anything I said that isn't objective.

He's invested 3 draft picks worth a shit at WR, you throwing Powell in there is just service to a narrative you are trying to create. Not a single reasonable fan holds that one agaisnt him, and even most of the unreasonable ones don't.

He is and was. He had a very successful rookie year and that was playing with Reek and Sammy. He was off to his best year as a pro last year before he got hurt. Maybe you do want more out of your 2nd rounders, I'll give u that, but he is far from a bust. Ge can contribute.

Powell was disappointing, but can u really call a bad 5th round pick a bust? Maybe you can. I just think a bust is a guy who doesnt work out in the top rounds. Thats just my opinion.

Jumping the gun there just a little? He’s been solid, but doesn’t compensate for Veach’s misses on his previous two 2nd round WR selections.

And yes Hardman is a bust.

Second round pick… who the Chiefs traded up to get… was allowed to walk after his rookie contract and garnered minimal interest on the free agency market… forcing him to settle for a one year/prove-it contract with the Jets… and then sent back to the Chiefs for a low round draft pick.

That’s not exactly the trajectory of a successful NFL career… but keep trying to convince yourself otherwise.

Hardman was injured and missed a huge chunk of the year. If he never got hurt, he probably gets a nice multi year deal similar to what Pringle got.

I'd call it an average 2nd round pick. Far from a HR, but certainly not a bust.

Hardman contributed from day 1 on a cheap rookie deal. A true bust has no impact whatsoever, more or less an impact throughout their rookie deal. He was one of the best gadget guys in the NFL, still is.
