They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Lol or they just want to start all the way fresh next year so they'll ride out this year without giving up assets and let the chips fall where they may?

I doubt Veach just decided to 'give up' on a 6-2 team in first place for home field advantage with the possibility of a repeat Super Bowl championship.

I feel like Veach just enterered the Arrogance Problem Lounge and sat next to Peterson and said hold my beer.

By not making a move for, at the very least or bare minimum, a proven veteran wide receiver, Veach basically said that he was right about the wide receivers.

He wasn't. He isn't. He is WRONG. I get it, he was the guy that put Mahomes on Reid and the Chiefs radar. I get it, he drafted McDuffie. But he can't draft the WR position.

Reid really doesn't like to play rookie receivers, or at least he has never really developed a rookie wide receiver in season, which hurts us even more when you pair that with Veach's inability to identify college talent at WR.

I thought Veach was better than the guys who get caught up in their own hype, but apparently he isn't.

We have an OBVIOUS problem at WR, but our GM and HC (yes, they gave us Mahomes and 2 rings, they which have nothing to do with this issue) are literally acting like we have a wide receiver room filled with studs. Reid actually tried to make an excuse for Moore not catching the TD pass. Veach didn't add anyone to the wide receiver room, not even a veteran who could take snaps from Moore and Toney.

I love Mahomes, as does every Chiefs fan, but this group of turds is too much for him to overcome. If Reid/Nagy would get their heads out of their asses and play Rice more, and play MVS less, and don't play Moore at all, Mahomes might drag this sorry group to the AFCCG, but that is probably the absolute ceiling for this team with the current receivers THIS year.

Welp there it is… after his first 27 career games looking barely qualified to play in the XFL, Skyy Moore is magically going to develop into a competent NFL WR by December.

I here you, but he went out and got a veteran WR just last week. And that veteran WR doesn't have to waste any time learning the playbook, because he already knows it. I agree they need to play Rice more because he's the only one that shows any consistent promise out of the whole group. And yes, Veach may have made a mistake, but let's give him and Andy the chance to work through it with what they have. I mean, what other choice is there now? Believe me, I think the WR's are terrible. And I was not wanting to trade Tyreek and was heavily advocating for Veach to sign D-Hop. I still think THAT is where Veach really went wrong. So if I can come around, anyone can. Let's let Veach, Veach, and Andy be Andy. We owe them that.

A blind squirrel......a blind dog....... etc.

He can't draft the WR position. Rice looks like he is shining because he is playing next to some hot shit golems they pour into a uniform and bring to life before every game.

Drafting one guy who just doesn't suck, while drafting losers and passing on stars, does not mean you can draft the WR position.

I get it. You think you know a lot about football, and how to evaluate talent, and you should really be an NFL GM, and you are really, really hating the fact that you posted about how Skyy Moore was a great pick, and continued to defend his play, every week, even though he clearly played poorly.

You even puffed out your chest a little when he had one broken play of 54 yards, and ended with 3 catches for 70 yards against the Jags.

He's drafted just 3 WRs in the first 2 days.

One was (and still is) a solid player for us, one looks like a bust, the other looks like a legitimate starter just 8 games into his career.

But yea "a blind squirrel" dipshit.

And downplaying Rice is just absolute horseshit. You're all the ****ing same. Either saying something like "except for Rice", or just brain dead shit like this. You didn't like the Rice pick. You hated it. Of course you're going to pretend he hasn't been a ****ing stud (that occasionally drops a pass).

Rice has been as good as any WR in this year's draft class.
