Personally, not at all

But seeing Caliendo out there doesn't give anyone hope for Kingsley or Nourzad or whoever, at this rate it'll be a nice story if they even stick around as a guards

Its Caliendo, thats our guy like it or not

I'm still holding out hope for Kingsley at tackle.

I've just seen too many cases in this league of tackles forced to play before they're ready and looking like complete nincompoops out there only to get an offseason or two of coaching and then they end up being pretty good players.

Kingsley looked bad. Reeeeeal bad. But I've seen this shit before. That's obviously not a guarantee he'll succeed, but I'm not judging his career as a bust until the end of next season. And even then, that might be a little early, particularly if we determine Humphries is going to be our guy for the next year or two and Kingsley never gets a chance to play a game next season.

Kingsleys cousin looked like a flaming pile of shit year one. Now look at him. No need to panic on that.

Just curious, who have you seen before that was as bad as Kingsley (absolutely unplayable, healthy scratch) and ended up being a decent tackle in the nfl? I think someone brought up Garrett Bolles who had struggles early in his career but he was ever as bad as Kingsley.

In 2021, he had 11 penalties. The year he had 6 was the outlier. He's always been terrible when it comes to penalties.

My guess is that we don’t know, because those guys usually sit behind vets their rookie years.

Plenty of good players take a “redshirt” rookie year and we have no idea how they would’ve looked.

Kingsley got thrown in there by necessity.

Don't worry, Heck can coach him up. Not. He needs to be the first coach fired in the off-season.

I find it funny that when Pat is on his ass, the first person to help him up is one of the tackles that caused him to be on his ass!!

Pat was PISSED. Me thinks that the high dollar players will give up some cash to solve those two problems. How many yachts can you ski behind? Jones was pissed as well. They are VERY competive people. They want to win.

No one wants to hear it, but I don't care and I think Wanya can be a pretty good player somewhere on the line.

Honestly, all Morris has to do is work on his technique and he'd actually be a decent LT. Seems like coaching could do a better job with him and give him some advice so that he's not getting his hands knocked away. He's pretty damn good if he is able to get his hands onto the defender.

I'm just going off what I can remember from the game and I specifically watched Morris all game, so I may have to go back and revise some of this.

He had a disaster of a 4th quarter, but he only had 2 bad reps in the 1st half (one that resulted in a sack) and then he was good through all of the 3rd quarter. His 4th quarter really went bad when they decided they weren't going to run the ball and the defense knew it. Wanya did completely shut down Max Crosby on the few plays that he tried to challenge him and then Max went to Jawaan Taylor and whipped his ass.

Jawaan Taylor played worse than Morris did.
