Nonetheless, it is very unlikely a 38 year old QB will out perform a 33 year old QB in the next 3-4 years when the difference between them is small.

Rodgers is better than Russell Wilson, but it isn't a massive margin.

Even if you assume there is no drop off between the two from age, Wilson still is a HUUUGE get for the Donks. Saying anything but the contrary is just being blind, deceived, Chiefs homer.

Nobody said “massive”.

It is absolutely significant though.

And the idea that’s going to change over the next couple of years is speculative. Baseless.

Well, in 2020 and 2021:

The Packers were the only team above .500 each year in their division. The Bears, Vikings and Lions were at or below .500 for the last 2 seasons. How pathetic is that?

The Seahawks were 7-10 last year while the Rams, Cardinals and 49ers were all 10 wins or better. In 2020, the Seahawks were 12 wins and led the division while the Rams and Cardinals were both over .500.

So, the level of competition in those 12 divisional games during those 2 seasons is likely the main driver of the 20 TD differential. Rodgers has been king of shit mountain.

I like Russell Wilson. I liked him at North Carolina State and at Wisconsin.

Rodgers is better

Completely delusional. This isn’t ****ing CFB. The schedule difference is never that significant. They play in the same ****ing conference for crying out loud.

I’ve literally never heard anybody try to say that Russell Wilson is on Aarong Rodgers level until the last 24 hours.

Amazing.

Seriously, he may be like the 3rd best all time already at this point in his career. Just maybe.

Wilson 3rd best QB of all time? Please tell me I am misreading that. He isn't close to breaking the top 10 let alone top 3.

Look, this is a solid move by the Donks. First one from a QB move they've made that wasn't dogshit since Manning, and that was sketchy. I've got to give it to them for going out and getting Wilson. Now, having said that, what they gave up was WAY to much. Aside from adding a guy or two along the season to bolster an already good playoff team, like the Rams did, great NFL teams are built through the draft. At least ones that want to be great for a long time. Wilson will be 34 when the season starts. He relies alot on his legs. He's a guy that has about 4 years and he may have already begun to decline a bit. The donks gave away a shit ton of draft capital for him.

While I applaud the balls, I wouldn't have made the move. I would have rolled with Locke under a new offensive coach, then used my drafts for a QB next year in the draft. We shall see how it all works out though.
