I know there are enough of us to participate in this thread, even when our seasons inevitably go to shit.

KSU vs Western Illinois today, tip-off at 3:00 pm.

One thing I noticed near the end of the game on Friday night - we had 5 true freshman on the court, and still played sound basketball. None of them were scrub walk-ons either. While I don't think we will make a serious run at anything this year, the foundation is being laid for a solid program in the future.

Congrats Kittens. You guys are looking pretty good, even though you did beat the Kansas School of the Blind by like six points. Shall lead to a good Big 12.

You do realize Michigan was a pre-season Top 12 team right? You do realize that KU put the smack down to Fort Hayes State while just fucking around in exhibition? You do realize that the Michigan game wasn't ever in question and KU got up by 21 points quick before getting lackadaisical. You do realize that KU played probably their worst game of the year and still won by 11. Since when is a 11 point victory over a slow it down grinding Big 10 team favored to be in the Top 3 of their conference a bad thing anyway?

It's been sort of a strange early season. Cats 10-1, ranked playing good D, and shooting lights out and the Cat fans are ecstatic.

UK is 10-0, routed the teams they should rout, and in their 'closer' wins, they haven't really been challenged. Yet their fans (save for KC_Conn) are shit the bed upset because every game isn't over by halftime.

I remember last season when BWill raged against Martin's bad language. Then he said it was okay to cuss out a three year old. A walking ~~contradiction~~ contra-tard-ion.

you do realize Michigan had to go to OT to beat Creighton (4-6), right?

you are aware Michigan lost to a mediocre Utah (5-6), right?

you are aware Michigan got beat by Alabama, who KSU just whipped in a fairly average performance, right?
