Here's a few stats to show just how bad Paton is....

Trades Von and Chubb for peanuts (then offers the 1st plus more for a Head Coach ) and replaces them with turds Bonito, Gregory, and Browning.

Denver gave up over 25 PPG after the Chubb deal.

30 against legit offenses.

If Surtain is so good why can offenses still shred Denver's defense easily scheming around him? Waste of a top pick...

Chubb for peanuts? That’s the one thing he hasn’t screwed up. It’s ridiculous that someone gave up a 1st for Chubb.

That wasn't the point. Said compensation was offered to be pissed away on a washed out HC...and as big of a bust as Chubb was that defense was awful without him because Paton missed on the draft AND free agency

And let's never forget that the Donks drafted Chubb so they could let Shaq Barrett walk

I can only imagine the Walmart interview process for a HC. They went from used car salesperson type management to great value.

Can you imagine the delusional expectations they would give any HC taking over that worst case scenario of an nfl team after firing the last head coach after a partial season and have 48 head coaches in the last 5 years…

Hire Jim Harbaugh for whatever he wants in salary. Gotta hire a HC that can coach ups young QB.
Draft Justin Herbert even if you need to trade up to get him.
Draft OL and defense early and often.
Hire the best defensive mind you can get to run the defense.

Pray to God.

Denver’s offense has some nice weapons that a good coach could get a lot more out of than we saw Sunday night and the defense has a few pieces that are young and talented.

I’m glad none of that will happen because nobody worth a damn wants to work with Elway.

Surtain

That’s it.

Everyone else is either criminally overpaid or completely worthless.

And me putting Eric Bienemys nsme out there as HC is a legit option. They are going to want a short term *lottery ticket hire* at HC that they can throw under the buss in a year or 2 after the total house cleaning is over with and they can hand a top overall pick and a bunch of cap space to in 2024 and EB is the perfect guy.

They won’t be able to land a top candidate at HC with the state of the team currently. No way. The whole team is in horrible shape from the top down.

No draft picks
Fat and ineffective QB with massive albatross contract
Broken locker room
Only above average/good players are very overpaid and underperforming

No quality coach is going to come into that situation.

I can see them getting a guy like John Dorsey and pairing him with Eric Bienemy for the job.
Good times

If you really think the Broncos are the top job, that's hilarious.

Ryans will fail miserably as a HC there, he doesn't have the experience or expertise on offense to put Wilson in his place. I mean shit the Texans job is better than the Broncos.
