What happened to those turds KJ Hamlin and Montreal Washington? We were told they would start on KC. So did the Chiefs just win 14 with WRs that would be 5 though 10 on Denver's depth chart? We were also told nobody other than Mahomes and Kelce would start for Denver as well. So KC won 14 with a team of backups? Kind of voids your injury excuse knowmo when you make claims like those before the season....

He led the team in receiving TD’s and was second in receiving yards in 2021. Put some respect on Tim Patrick's name.

I’ve always liked Patrick, he’s been the most dependable of our WRs and actually fights for the ball in the end zone. I’d be open to trading Sutton and having Jeudy and Patrick as the top 2 WRs.

I’ve never seen so much love and hype for 700-800 yard receivers

Over the last several years, KC's had stretches of awful OL play, zero running game, receivers that don't get open, no pass rush, and backup-caliber defense....yet they just continued to win. Why? Because they're elite where it matters...QB and head coach. Mahomes won in Denver in his first career start with nothing but scrub backups around him. He had one of the best games of his career vs a solid Pittsburgh D last year without Kelce, and with a very limited Hill (coming off the Covid list). His top receivers were Darrel Williams, Pringle, Derrick Gore and Hardman. He blew out the Bills in the AFC championship game with a terrible 3rd string OL. And he went into LA and beat the Chargers without his top 3 WRs this year. I would hope you'd acknowledge that losing Kelce isn't exactly the same as losing Dulcich....right? Or Humphrey vs Cushenberry, or Chris Jones vs whoever your "best interior rusher" is. Etc, etc. And if injuries are piling up every year, it obviously goes beyond "bad luck." Do you expect this to magically change? And, of course, you fail to mention the inconvenient fact that the team looked bad even before injuries started to pile up. |
