TNF Bengals vs Ravens

Important game for the AFC. I hope the Ravens win and continue to kill the Bengals chances for the playoffs.

I enjoy watching Lamar play well because if nothing else it really irritates Bills fans. Chiefs annoyance around how Lamar is discussed is nothing compared to how angry Bills fans get about it.

Depends on how you define rival then.

They’ve won the #1 seed twice since Mahomes became starter. We’ve won it three times in that timespan.

Generally every year we play them in the regular season, it’s one of the most important games for us.

By your definition, the Bills also wouldn’t be considered rivals since we beat them in the playoffs every time without fail. I don’t agree with that.

They are getting exceptionally pissy this season, I must say lol

Mahomes is stealing all of Allen’s postseason success and Lamar is stealing all of his regular season awards. Tough luck.

Uhh, no? Allen and Mahomes are 3-3 against each other, and one of our wins against them in the post season was decided by a coin flip.

Edit: 4-3. We've got one on them.

We’re 3-0 against the Bills in the playoffs.

“They routinely flame out in the postseason”, just like the Ravens.

We’re really just arguing minutiae here. The Ravens are consistently one of the top teams in the AFC. Football is a zero sum game. By definition they are certainly one of our main rivals, unlike some bum ass franchise like the Jags or Texans who are irrelevant more often than not.

Uh, yeah, no ****ing shit! I can root for the Chiefs to win every Super Bowl ever and still be realistic in saying that Lamar Jackson is objectively an amazing football player.

Why would I listen to you anyway? You’re delusional. You still claim Tom Brady wasn’t that good lol

I’m not trying to crown any new rival. We’re talking about the Ravens and Bengals. They’ve been our main rivals along with the Bills and Brady before he retired.
You're thinking of Ken Pom Connection with Brady. But the Patriots did cheat. That isn't arguable

Bills are 5-5 in the playoffs since Mahomes was starting. 3 of those losses were to the Chiefs.

Ravens are 2-5 in the Playoffs since Mahomes was starting. 1 of those losses were to the Chiefs.

Ravens can't even make it far enough to get beaten by us.

Don’t care what their record is. The Bengals are our biggest threat in the playoffs to go back to the SB.

Bills and Ravens have shit defenses that won’t stop us. We have the mental edge and also know how to defend them.

Texans OL and secondary is terrible. Also have WR injury concerns. They aren’t there yet.

Bengals know they can beat us at Arrowhead bc they’ve done it before. Their defense knows how to play Mahomes and make hims work for points and they have good WR’s to attack our weakness at CB2/CB3 as well as an elite DE to attack our weakness at LT.

Doesn’t mean anyone is scared of them. It simply means they are a bigger threat than the other AFC teams and should be acknowledged as such.

QBs that run around like idiots all year don't win titles. Proven fact. Same goes for Allen

Same reason I'm not too keen on drawing the Steelers in the playoffs. TJ Watt will skull **** the left side of the line and unfortunately even washed Russell Wilson can actually run an offense when it's just chucking prayer balls to Pickens and letting Najee Harris do the heavy lifting.

Burrow and the Bengals are the only ones that could even come close to having a legitimate case there. The rest of the league and it's QBs are a big 0 for 12 against him.

WOOF!

Oof forgot about Gisecki. He’s 8th in receiving yards amongst TE’s and that was with sharing snaps with their rookie TE before he got injured.

We all know how we’ve struggled against TE’s this season.

Yeah. Bengals are our toughest matchup on paper among the other AFC teams.
