Sean Payton wants to bring Ryan “I traded up and drafted Trubisky over Mahomes and Watson” Pace with him

In the case that Payton does take a job, he’s probably going to want to bring a GM with him, and my feeling is that GM would be Saints assistant GM Jeff Ireland or ex-Bears GM Ryan Pace.

Tim Patrick does not have a win above replacement value of a full game....NONE of your losses do. You lost a bunch of role players/jobbers. Big deal. Would ve like Chiefs fans blaming a loss on Hardman who is more valuable than any player Denver was missing

I've heard Jeff Ireland's name too. I'd prefer to keep Paton, obviously, but a top tier coach is vastly more important than a top tier talent evaluator.

A big upside in hiring Dan Quinn is that George Paton would be his preferred GM.

I've heard Harbaugh would want Ed Dobbs, but there's a chance he'd be willing to work with Paton.

You are probably the only Broncos fan who seems to like and approve of the job Paton has done.

"Top tier talent evaluator"?!?!?! Paton is one of the worst GMs in the league. Your homerism knows no bounds.

I don't think there are many Bronco fans who actually want him to be fired.

They aren't happy that he brought in Hackett, and some think the Russ trade was a mistake, but after seeing Russ play without Hackett I think many of them see that Russ wasn't the problem.

Not sure what's funnier...the fact that you still call him the General or that you expect people to be wowed by those picks.

Ww can see that in how WRONG he is EVERY offseason. He's like the Chief fans that thought Boerigter and Studebaker were good.

By god you’re right. I’d extend Paid a Ton immediately. Lock him up for another 5 years so nobody swoops in and steal that amazing talent evaluator!

Obviously.

Who wouldn't want to keep the guy who pulled off the worst HC hire in decades, one of the worst trades in NFL history, and one of the worst contracts in recent memory?
