Dana White basically said that Miocic gets the winner of Werdum/Velasquez.... but who knows until a title fight is actually announced since they frequently back out of promises.

What the hell fight were you watching? We can all debate who won round 3, but Lawler nearly had Condit knocked out in round 5 twice. Could also be an argument that the fight could have been stopped

we're probably nit-picking what the difference is between "really damn hurt from Robbie's striking" and "almost KO'd", either way, whatever you want to call it, thats part of what balances Condit's impressive-looking striking stats that were on paper suggesting he was easily winning the fight. Condit had the volume though, no doubt.

hilarious, embarrassing moment in the press conference. One of the reporters thought Tumenov (wearing a hat) was Lawler, and asked him a question as if he were Lawler. Dana was confused why the translater wasn't doing his job, the reporter kept trying to say never mind, I made a mistake, the translater was explaining to Dana what happened, then finally it dawned on Dana: "wait.... you cover MMA, and you thought that was Robbie Lawler?" Hilarity ensues.

You don't need to know shit about MMA to see that Condit was trying to make it to the bell. He was taking shot after shot and wobbling on his feet with hands down. I mean holy shit dude... |
