Meh, it's the "it's rigged" garbage that idiots like to spout rather than conceding a loss. It's stupid and lazy, but it's what a large portion of our population prefers to do.

I meant to update this earlier, but on one of the afternoon shows they were vehemently bitching about the penalties for about 10 minutes. Then they had a guy on that had some real insight and said the Texans lost because they were outplayed and they shouldn't attribute anything to the penalties. The hosts agreed and claimed they would never blame a loss on the penalties. They then returned to bitching about the penalties for another solid 20 minutes.

This morning one of the 610 (Houston) guys said he was proud of the way Texans fans handled the penalties and that nobody was blaming the refs for the loss. And no, I am not kidding.

Yep. Heard it also...Yesterday on the afternoon show, everybody was calling in saying it was a refs and, and two radio hosts, Clint Stoerner and Ron Hughley. were also blaming the refs. Sterner was beside himself about it. Pathetic.

I had this out on FB with my nephew (Patriots/Brady fan) yesterday. I even posted the video of that BS roughing call on Jones. He still claims it was legit because Jones hit the facemask. I have looked at the video several times over and I still don't see it. How can you see something that is not there? The Chiefs were leading at the time, too.

I don't like it because it's gross. And from everything I can tell, PM is a Christian. This is wrong on so many levels. I'm sure PM would not appreciate it, either.

None of these idiotic pundits ever mention the fact that "spearing with the helmut" got outlawed in the '90's thanks to Cardinals DB Chuck Cecil who was employing this tactic and the league whacked him with a stiff fine & then they outlawed it -- same as they had done with the clothesline tackle and the headslap used by D-Line against O-Lineman many years before (Go watch the 3rd and 15 jet chip wasp play in SB 54 and you will see 49ers #91 get away with using the headslap TWICE on Chiefs RG #76 LDT, and NOT get called for it).

If you lead with & attempt to spear with the helmut, it is a penalty. None of the Chiefs defenders did this to CJ Stroud and every one of those 8 sacks were clean tackles with none of them being vicious. On the last sack, Karlaftis may have given Stroud a bit of a jolt, but nowhere in the vicinity of warranting a penalty flag.

Chris Simms is 100% correct in his analysis -- it's just sour grapes and false accusation. And if false accusation is all they have, then they have nothing and deserve to be laughed at & mocked.
