They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

It's the reason the offense moved bettter that drive Kelce was out a couple weeks ago and a few times when we NEEDED to score. Because Mahomes finally just let it rip to whoever was open and ran the offense.

Maybe MVS has lost a step, but he's definitely worse than the Green Bay version right now. Moore's moving from a guy getting few opportunities to a guy who deserves even less. Toney has moved from erratic but occasional brilliance to total anonymity.
I dont either, but they have. The "But they're the same WR's as last year" crowd forgets to acknowledge this fact.

So you're Mahomes, and u go back to pass, look at your target spot, and most of the time you say, "WTF???" hesitate and look for #87. Rinse, repeat - then u force stuff and get happy feet and the offense is out of sync and the whole thing looks like Alex Smith is still around.

So yeah, Mahomes is different this year.

I kinda think we’re making excuses for our qb who just isn’t playing at the elite super star level we’re used to (we’re spoiled)

He’s still playing like a good qb, just not, whatever level he was.

He needs to just keep grinding it out. We all want it to be smooth sailing fire breathing dragon. It’s just not yet

It’s never just one thing when your team struggles (and let’s be honest, 6-2 ain’t much of a struggle). Do we have mediocre wide receivers? Yes. Is Mahomes playing at an elite level? No. Is our running game non-existent in the RZ/short yardage? Yes. Did our Coaches call a good game and have a good game plan vs Denver? No. Did turnovers kill any momentum we had during that game? 100%.

WR’s/QB/Execution/Game-plan/Turnovers all contributed to that loss. We need to get better, but I don’t believe it to be as dire a situation, and as entirely focused on one spot (WR) as some believe

Skyy has been open and Mahomes isn't throwing it. Probably because he doesn't trust him. However, that's the point, Mahomes needs to be part of the solution as the GOAT...

Now teams see our WR's and say, " You not only don't have Tyreek, we have no fear of your guys."

So the throws to the flats against Denver were swarmed. Denver dared us to rain bombs on them and we had no firepower to do so.
What, they were playing 2 high most of the day...you are clueless.

I think everybody acknowledges that he's playing below his standards but how much is that because he feels the need to press because of how bad the receivers are?

Which teams do you think have a worse WR corps than the Chiefs?

Yup. Denver had 3 deep the entire game. Also had 2 backers drop to try to cover Kelce. He's wrong.

Honestly we should have gotten Rice, Mecole and Toney more WR screens bc they were clearly working.

Naw, the real clowns refuse to see how bad the WR's are, no matter how obvious it is.

I think an underlying issue the board isn't seeing is that the OL got its ass kicked yesterday and Mahomes wasn't throwing deep bc he had happy feet.

Broncos had 3 sacks, 11 QB hits and 22 pressures.

The OL played worse than the WR's yesterday
