Super solid approach.
Rumors are the Veach and Reid are standing pat. They must like what they see at WR.

They can’t run IPac now because there is no backup.

They are load managing him for the playoffs.

Did you forget who our coach is?

Pacheco had EIGHT carries in a game against the 32nd ranked rush defense - and it was a tight game until the end.

I don’t remember the Patriots having punt return fumble problems like KC.

To be fair they were like the 31st or 30th in pass defense as well amd we were behind most of the game.

At the same time, the Oline did not do Pacheco any favors on those 8 carries. The dude was running into a wall it seemed.

And it was clear in the 2nd half that Denver intended to take the air out of the football and cut us down to 2 possessions.

The deep shot on 3rd and 5 (and the decision to friggen punt it away from the Denver 42) put us in a bind and the muff that immediately followed essentially ended it. It killed a productive drive at zero points, snuffed another one out in the womb. At that point Denver just wasn't going to give us enough possessions to come back and the defense was going to struggle to get a 3 and out as the fatigue set in.

We ran the ball 3 times on the first drive, got 7 total plays out of the next 2 drives (both ended in turnovers), ran the ball twice in the 4th drive and 2 more times in the 5th drive.

I mean if you figure on getting 8-10 drives/gm, you're looking at 16-20 called runs in that span if the script is relatively neutral. I don't think Reid really shelved the run game as much as A) We didn't do it terribly well and B) we just found ourselves fighting uphill because nothing we tried really worked worth a damn.

We had a 19 yard run and 3 quarterback scrambles for another 20 yards. Take that out of there and we got 23 yards rushing on 12 carries. We kinda sucked at it.

This is actually not true. Chris Jones shit agents put that out in case we made Chris a stalking horse.

The Chiefs are projected to have $51.6 million in cap space next Spring. With rollover it's about $55 million. We'd still have $20+ million.

We can also save $12 million alone by cutting MVS. $22.75 if they elect to cut MVS and Reid.

Firstly, 100% agree on this post. Pretty concise way of putting it.

As for the underlined bit, I've been told multiple times that you can't remove datapoints, particularly outlier datapoints. I allegedly made that kind of math up out of thin air.
