Alright Planeteers, I've been arguing on message boards with people about this off and on for a couple years now and I want to get CP's input on it. The question is this: Who would win in a fight between Bruce Lee and Mike Tyson in his prime? Let's hear it!

If it's a geographical region that gets unfairly, unwantedly and disputedly lumped together....yeah.... To be honest, it's pretty uncool to generalize Eastern Asians... especially given their ideological differences.

What would make you think something like that???? I understand someone thinking I don't know JACK about football....but MMA....shee-it.... I've dabbled in it locally and haven't come close to losing...my dumb ass cousin who shares my last name and outweighs me by 50 lbs is a Super-Heavyweight champion in our prominent MMA shit in our region....he has been primarily trained by my brother and I....we can both beat his ass because he wasn't a wrassler....and he does so well because all the people who he fights against are the types who attend June Keet Do type bullshit martial arts clubs....

That's pretty cool.... you are probably pretty good looking...the Cherokee Native Americans, from what my great aunt told me, are generally beautiful people. My wife is like 1/8 Cherokee...and she is beautiful. Our two daughters are 1/16 Cherokee...and they are beautiful.

Actually, all I can see in our family, our Cherokee blood just gave us a penchant for obesity.

My aunts and uncles were/are chubby. My mom was 5"8' 200 lbs in HS until she got tired of being fat and starved herself down to 90 lbs. Now she looks 100% Cherokee, cheekbones, nose, black hair closing in on 60. I was 270 at one point, and I similarly starved my self back down to 190. But you could look long and hard at me and see nothing but limey.

Is starving yourself the main way to lose weight when you have a sedimentary lifestyle that you can't control???? I have become fatter since my kids were born...and what's frustrating is that I can't work out when, or how I want to...Not only am I at home with the kids, but I have a rare disorder called cold urticaria (allergic to cold) that forces me to be confined to indoor environments in Iowa during the winter....

I want an elliptical and a bowflex....and I don't want to have to travel to use one because I don't want to look like the damn elephant man when I arrive at the facility to use the equipment on a cold day.

Its not to say you know nothing about how most fights may go down, but all of this talk about "blah movie hero, never had a real fight he won, buncha pretty boy movie techniques etc" is EVERY bit as assinine as saying "Tyson was Clubber Lang incarnate, impervious to pain, fast as lightning, dude was a huge scary black dude from the streets!"

Tyson had no point of reference to deal with all of the myriad techniques Lee would throw at him in a no holds barred, do or die fight... too many people are too wrapped up in his SIZE, his awesome MUSCLES and QUICKS to stop and think about what true martial arts are, IMO.

Didnt mean to slam you personally Rico, but the overconfidence in some circles is crazy, IMO... Lee was faaar stronger and potentially meaner than the average 150 pounder
