Okay, I need a little help here. Hopefully someone can explain to me like I'm 5.
I brought headlights for my 2013 Charger, and I know that the headlights are definitely compatible to the vehicle. No issues there. The headlight that was purchased can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084BN2CGC...roduct_details The lights work just fine, however, can someone explain to me what they mean by "Daytime Running Lights Require Wiring Into Existing Lighting"? Mainly, the high beams and low beams lights work fine, but the LED Daytime Running Light is not working. So reading it, it says that it requires wiring into the existing lighting. Can someone explain to me what it is trying to say? Thanks in advance.

I think I got it figured out though, since I went to the dealership (who originally installed the new headlights but didn't do the wiring aspect of the daytime running lights) and explained what was going on. So, they'll fix it.

Thinking about putting a new exhaust on the truck (2021 Ram Limited) for Christmas.
Circling around a Flowmaster Super 44 or a Borla S Type. Anyone have any experience w/ them? I've never swapped out exhausts before but there's no reason that V-8 shouldn't have a nice tuned note to it. Just a good throaty rumble at idle that growls a little if I open the throttle.

I'll lead you down the same path i led Marcellus down and he seemed pretty happy. Same stuff we use in the shop. Matter of fact, i just received an X-pipe and (2) Venom 250 Series mufflers to build the exhaust on this '70 Coyote Swap we're building. https://www.blackwidowexhaust.com/ They even have a nifty page where they have hundreds of user submitted exhaust clips. You might even find your truck in there. And you can buy them through me. Or not. Which ever. But they have a great sound.

I feel like I agree with the consensus on the Flowmasters though - they do sound...I dunno....hollow? Tinny? They're just a hell of a lot cheaper. And I think I really like that rolled 4'' high polish chrome tip; it's gonna look damn sharp on the painted black bumpers. Mostly I was just hoping someone would talk me INTO the cheaper option. Very few seem inclined to do so. So how do your guys compare to Borla? Any sort of general statements? I know some systems are designed to sound 'sportier' and that's not really what I'm looking for. I don't need it to necessarily sound like a corvette with that almost snarl noise. I'm looking for something pretty guttural. So what's your elevator pitch for these guys? What might make them stand apart from Borla? Looks like I'd probably be most interested in the Venom 300 (from listening to their sound clips). Maybe the 250. The Race and Widowmakers are too harsh, IMO.

I would do the research on a ram forum. For me the biggest thing is always if it drones at highway speed. My G8 had an awful drone at 65-75 with magnaflows. It was so bad i bought some different ones after about 2 months. And keep in mind its not going to sound as throaty when it drops 4 cylinders on the highway. Ive heard of people removing the resonators to help that too.
Also please update us when its done! I want to know how noticable it is in a newer truck like that.

Hmm..... In either event, ain't too worried about re-sale. Yeah, Detox has always been a good source for this stuff. And !@#$ing Growling Sidewinder videos have brutally murdered my productivity.

Don't want to remove the resonators. I have what amounts to pro forma exhaust on the Camaro and that shit literally shakes pictures off the wall. Don't need that on the pickup.

What i can tell you is that i've had a number of local guys who absolutely hate the sound of the Flowmaster stuff. "Tin Can" would be a good way to explain it. Mostly it's the issue of exhaust drone. Flowmaster is notorious for it. I've known people who regretted putting Flowmaster on. But to each their own, right? We were big supporters of Spintech for awhile. Then we had one of our local customers pull up in his '66 coupe. Engine is nothing too special, a 331. But goddamn his exhaust sounded mean and he put us on to Black Widow and we've been using it ever since. The "No Drone" thing is the biggest sell point. As their slogan says, "All Tone, No Drone". It's an aggressive sounding exhaust. I have no sales pitch for them. (Quite frankly, i barely make anything off of selling their product so i could really give a damn if i personally sell it or not). Just wanted to hand out some anecdotal info. We're dead smack in the middle of building an exhaust system right now using two of their mufflers.
