The Bills take the AFC this seasom

Are you ready for some football!?

I know I am!

With that, I am here to make a proclamation!

The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.

For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.

A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.

The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

Let’s go mighty Buffalo Bills! 🦬 🦬 🦬

I’m not sure, but Allen didn’t just start being a bulldozer this year. If that was something we could fall back on over the last handful of years of years, it likely would have helped at many various points in time.

I’m less complaining about our own inadequacies and more giving Allen props.

Allen is great, no doubt.

Do you really need a QB to do a Tush Push? For instance, why don't we just line up Kelce and two backup linemen to push him forward?

I watched that game yesterday and they couldn’t stop anyone. MahomesMagic was right. Their defense is extremely vulnerable.

They couldn’t Baltimore either.

Detroit is the number 1 offense in PPG. I expect them to put 40+ on them next week

Bell used to run qb sneaks. No reason Grey can’t go do the rush push

Plus, the last time these teams matched up, the Rams got embarrassed on national TV.

I smell an upset, followed by a loss to Detroit. Followed by a boring close to the AFC season as the Chiefs take it easy on Christmas and against the Broncos.
Trap game: Engaged!

Detroit is a NIGHTMARE matchup for that defense.

McDermott wants to run his nickel base, play zone, and keep everything in front of them, and wait for the QB to make a mistake, or the offense to misfire in execution.

The Lions are:

1) Precise
2) Extremely good on the OL
3) Dynamic running the football both with power and speed
4) QBed by a guy who is incredibly accurate when kept clean and playing on script, especially in the short- and intermediate-passing games.

I don't see how the Bills slow down that offense at all. It's everything the Rams offered, except better.

Could be another shootout, but it's a Bills' L.

The Lions are neck and neck with Philly for the one seed, too.

They will fight like hell.

They also fall to the 5th seed if the Vikings win the division and they're only a game ahead (Lions currently have the tiebreaker, but they don't play again until the last weekend of the season).

Nope, not at all. But it does add an extra layer if you can line your QB up under center and reliably get that 1 or 2 yards on a sneak because then the defense has to prepare for literally anything. With Mahomie taking the snap it could be a sneak, a handoff, play action or a standard drop back pass. If we bring the backup TE in and he starts fumbling around under center the defense will know it’s definitely a sneak. And speaking of fumbling, there’s a chance you have a fumble while exchanging the snap since they’re not as experienced in that aspect as QBs are.

Lions are 4th in rushing averaging 151 yards per game on the ground

Bills are 19th and allow 123 yards per game. Just gave up 137 to the Rams and 271 to the Ravens.

They’re going to get butt ****ed

We get to play vanilla the last two weeks of the regular season.

Mahomes shouldn't have 20 passing attempts.
