I don’t have a ton of faith that Moore will ever be an above avg receiver. I wasn’t overjoyed when they drafted him and he’s done nothing to change my mind. But Toney is a good talent and it’s dumb to judge him based on one outing, especially when he was rusty and probably not 100%.

That was one of the worst games ever by any receiver in the NFL. So the positive spin would be that he truly can't be this bad or worse moving forward. You sure as hell hope that last night was the worst it will be.

The spin is he got 4 targets in 16 snaps because he got open, Skyy Moore was out there for 30 plus snaps getting nothing because he has no ability to get open.

This is why most teams that are going young usually try to have a reliable vet or 2, why do you think Carolina signed Theilen and Chark and didn't just go yep Mingo you the guy!

It's one thing to do that when the guy is a top 5 pick but even then someone needs to be reliable. The Chiefs have a bunch of upside with low floors the one vet receiver they have is consistently inconsistent.

It was bad, but we're talking about three dropped passes by a player who didn't have a single drop last year (that I remember). He was also never known for having poor or questionable hands in college.

Sorry if I'm not ready to burn Toney at the stake. I think he's going to be a great weapon for KC.

Yeah, you got that wrong. It's okay, we still have 16 more games to go.

Skyy Moore at 5'10 and 195lbs can't command the same amount of physicality and physical presence as Juju at 6'1 and 220lbs. Their skillsets and playstyles aren't like each other at all. This will be a much different offense than last year.

The WR room is solely an experiment of youth.

Mahomes was holding the ball too long. He's not reading the field well and I'm not sure why.

He was very quick and decisive in the pocket throughout the last 2 years. No idea why he's holding it? Can't be the OL. They did a good job in protection all things considered.
