Look at the situation and the time. He was trying to make a play. Looks like he took his eyes off the ball just before it hit his hands, and that usually results in the fumble. Not excusing him, but in that moment, I can't disagree with the idea.

Hey, I get it. Just saying, in that moment, and with Hardman flipping the script last week with that walk-off return, I can't be too upset with him, that's all. We needed a spark (****ing badly), and he tried to give us one. it backfired. But he's not why KC lost the game. Lot of other people in that line before Hardman.

Can we also admit that the play calls have not been ideal? Why not more slants for example, with Moore and Toney unable to get open downfield?

That opening script may have been the worst I've ever seen out of Reid. Just a truly awful series of plays that set the tone for the whole game.

Going to be honest, guys...

The only concern I had going into this game was the fact it's been cold and snowing in DEN all week. I knew it wor be a bit of a shock for our guys but shouldn't be too bad.

It was bad. Really bad. Drops, fumbles, you name it.

None of these guys are any good at running slants. Some analyst actually ran the numbers last season; it was KC's worst season with Mahomes as the QB1 in terms of successfully catching passes on slants. This season it's worse.
