My view is the plan should be give Mahomes enough to kill you then do the best you can on the defense.

They really aren't that far away. Just go get someone better than Juju last year and we go on to crush everyone with a balanced roster-it works too.

Yeah, I’ve said this many times… Reid doesn’t like pushing WRs too soon. Most of us thought rashee would barely play this season… if at all. I am typically a veach apologist but how can anyone not think the current wr group minus rashee was expected to hold us over most of the season? It was a misread on our end.

Of course. Hiring Connor Embree as the WR coach of an extremely inexperienced group and making a former NFL WR (Pinkston) the RB coach was one of the most boneheaded decisions that have been made in KC.

I've been saying it for a few weeks now.

Veach needs to get on the horn and bring in a receiver that can constantly beat man coverage AND at the same time gain Pat's trust.

As of now, with this WR corps, it's not happening.

There is no cap space. That is the problem.
You can't just magically add an elite WR to your roster whenever you want.
