Everyone talks about the Jones RTP call (and rightfully so) but there were Patriots catches in that game that also never should have been called catches.

It's a coincidence. I just went and looked at the games we lost and only one of them had a controversial call.

He officiated last year's Christmas game against the raiders.
2021 last game of the season against the chargers when we rested our starters. 2021 against the ravens when we were in FG range and fumbled at the end. The chiefs Rams epic shootout. Hard to pin any of those on the officiating.

The only one we lost with a big call was the 2019 AFC title game against the Pats.

It was a poor game for sure.

But on balance, the rest doesn't concern me.

I'd been dreading them giving us Blakeman in the playoffs again since that game and they finally did it just after a media-led firestorm over the Chiefs allegedly getting too many calls. Interesting indeed.

Let's hope you're right. Mahomes can overcome all, but only as long as the refs aren't ****ing us around like they did in 2019.
