Raised on Riots is the Most Spineless, Nutless, Bet Welching Coward on this Board

Just to fill everyone in on the history of this:

RoR decided he wanted to make an IP Ban bet. The terms were as follows:

Cassel vs. Sanchez: Whoever had the most total yards this season wins, and the loser gets an IP Ban. Obviously he is backing Sanchez and I am backing Cassel.

Those were the terms. His idea, and I accepted the terms. There are quotes from the thread that the bet was made below. He was emphatic that he would leave if he lost, and I would do the same. Now, it looks like Sanchez will end up with fewer yards than Cassel, (he is around 400 short after this week), and now RoR says he will not leave unless a MOD enforces this.

We need a MOD to step up here. I would have left had I lost, and haven't been running my mouth all season about this stupid bet like he has. When Cassel was behind earlier in the season, I said on several occasions that if I lost, I was gone.

**See Post #2 in this thread for details and quotes from RoR and myself about the bet.**

And that's the root of the problem.

Don't make a bet you can't, or won't pay up on.

We're all men... have a little sense of honor. If you lose... lose graciously... and pay the bet.

If you win, accept your winnings with honor. There's no need to "rub it in".

As for ridiculous bets... just don't make them.

JFC.

I don't talk about my "wealth" here overtly because I find it tacky. I don't mind sharing stories about "Hollywood Stars", behind the scenes shit and so on. People here do a good enough job of inferring that I've acquired a little wealth.

The bottom line is I was trying to make a point to Hootie. I wish I had not have used those words.

And I wish I would not have gotten involved and trust me, I won't ever again.

Exactly.

**** you Milkman.

We just quoted two posts where Dane implied, very clearly, that he had millions...

And I don't give a **** if he does or he doesn't...

He probably does. Good for him. That's awesome.

That's all fine. And all I was doing was pointing out that it did read that way to me that you were saying you had millions. I don't care, was just saying that you did say that in this thread when it came up.

I think you misintreperted doomy.

I read it as just what Dane says, an observation of the players there, and that he was not actually a part of the game, just watching.

Wow

We have reading comprehension issues?

That's hysterical.

This has to be nominated for post of the year.

Reading his exact post...

I guarantee more people would assume he had millions than assume he was simply on the rail watching a bunch of millionaires play poker...

Too funny.

He wasn't implying that he had a million dollars to your dumb ass.

He was just smacking your dumb ass.
