6.5 Creedmore. Fairly new caliber, but it has really nice flat ballistics out to ~400yd.
Can't tell the gun. Kinda looks like Savage.

It is a CVA Cascade in 6.5 Creedmoor. It has the Bergara barrel, action, and trigger.

I was aiming at the bullseye of the target to the left. That is the first two shots I fired from the gun at 100 yards.

Adjusted the scope shot another two rounds and put that group just above the target. Adjusted the scope and shot just once after that because it was good enough, in the target, and that Creedmoor ammo is $50 a box. That will definitely kill a deer. This thing barely has any recoil.

Wow didnt see that one coming! I always have thought of CVA as an excellent muzzleloader. I didn't know they were making centerfires. Looks like a good one.

Eventful Christmas around the 'nut household.
For my 9 yr old: A Ruger GoWild .243 with a 16.5 inch barrel; shot really nicely. I need to get her to put about 20 more rounds through it because I think it's shooting a little low for her, but she put in a solid little 3 inch group at 75 yards. Not bad for having never fired a high powered rifle before. Little sucker - only 36 inches long with that short barrel. But it just barely fits her. I don't think she could shoot it without a rest just yet; arms are still a little too short to get a good base without propping her hand on something, but has the action down pat and all the 'gun safety' stuff with loading the mags, checking the breech and the safety, etc... Worked with her the last few years coming out to the stand with me with a BB gun (and one year my AR just to get the feel of the heft of a real gun) so she's ready to go. And then I got jealous of her and FINALLY found the gun I've been looking to get my hands on for about 3 years in Idaho: Browning BAR Mark II Safari in 7mm Rem Mag w/ the BOSS factory break on it. They don't actually make these anymore (never 'made' a 7mm with the BOSS on it; you had to special order it) so I figured I could get the BOSS or a 7mm but not both. Then the gun library at Cabelas in the Legends found this one for me. It wasn't online but I called them and had them send the photos. Once I got those, I was on the phone with them REAL quick... Man it's a nice gun. Looks great, shoots great. My shitty Bushnell scope didn't do it justice so I'll be in the market for a Vortex. Would love to get a Leupold but those are so damn expensive for the ones with the premier glass. And really I just want one because of how classic that gold ring looks on a 'traditional' gun like the BAR. I wanted something that could be 'grandads rifle' someday and I think I hit the mark with this one. Awfully excited about it.

So my wife bought me this for Christmas, what she doesn’t know is I had bought myself the size smaller as a carry pistol. Safe to say she will not know that I now have a pair of these

Sorry if it’s already been discussed, but does anyone have any thoughts on the 15-round Springfield Hellcat Pro? I’ve heard good things. Thinking about making this my next purchase.

Sort of crazy deal. The gun was produced in 1990 as part of a series with a upscaled stock and nice finish
I have never fired it...been in the safe since day one. Last year I bought a Redneck blind and realized I didn't need a 7mag and I would need a suppressor if i planned to gun hunt from the blind. So I go on the suppressor list a year ago and should have it in a few weeks. For giggles I bought a new 10-22 stainless with threaded barrel as well... Now I need to sell a few guns!
