Mine was a shade under that $2900. There’s a 20 week wait on their website. Got mine through Royal Arms in 5 weeks. I’m not a shotgun shooter because of the recoil but this was awesome.

Citadel Boss 12. They were under $300 each. I bought 4 of them. Gave 3 away to the kids and kept one. I'm sure they are not near the quality but they are fun. The "most fun" shotguns I have are a couple a IWI Tavor TS12. It is a bullpup configuration. It has 3 5 round magazine "tubes". Pretty cool design. https://iwi.us/product/tavor-ts12/ |

I had my eye on a Keltec KSG, until I put five slugs through it at the range. Holy crap - that thing kicked like an angry mule on crack sent from hell by my ex-wife. Far, far worse than a normal shotgun.
I'm too old for that shit. |

Tavors are nice. I'm waiting on them to come down another 500 or so before I pick one up. They've steadily become more affordable over the past few years.

That’s what I was going to get. Too much recoil for me and I couldn’t carry it on duty. This Genesis already been approved.

Boredom is a bitch.
Just picked up a S&W M&P10. .357/.44 mag Revolvers are officially retired from wouds duties. Some notes: Comes with the tall iron sights to allow for co-witnessing with an optic. The Trigger has been redesigned from the last gen, now more of a sword-style, and the dongle (whatever its called now) is skeletonized. Trigger is smoother than I expected out of the box, but still needs breaking in. Recoil is somehow very tame for a 10mm. Maybe it's the weight; thing holds 15 rounds!!! TBF, I've only fired rem white box out of it so far, so not full power yet. But was able to run off 10 rounds in under 2-2.2 seconds and put all rounds inside a 5-inch circle @10 yards several times. First range results it appears it shoots about an inch low/left. Very consistent though, produced fairly tight patterns during slow fire (3-inch groups @10/12 yards). I'm sure that will improve as I get used to the gun. Will report any issues as they come up, but after 4 M&Ps I'm fairly certain this thing will be trouble-free for at least the next 10 years.

I recently picked up this Cosaint Arms COS21 doublestack 1911 (2011) commander sized pistol. Steel frame, Cheely aluminum grip, optic cut, two MBX magazines. It shoots super smooth, and I love the grip especially here in SC, where I shoot 99% of the time outdoors and it's miserably humid nine months out of the year.
