You claimed that you can’t count all 32 teams as passing on Frauduer, since not every team needed a QB.

So I listed the teams that needed a QB… all of whom passed on Fraudeur multiple times.

If you want to continue moving the goal posts… go for it.

No idea. Though i don't think Kiper was around commenting on the draft when Unitas and Staubach were drafted. If he was, he's kept better care of himself than I would've given him credit for.


And we already know that about a third of the league doesn't know diddly about how to evaluate QBs, in particular NYJ, NYG, CLE, and CAR are probably the four worst at it and have been shitty at it for more than 2 decades, yes? So, I'm not terribly interested in what those organizations think about any QB, given their histories.

Yet if NFL teams thought he had elite talent, they’d still put up with his baggage and would have drafted him earlier.

And that’s the primary reason he dropped… a consensus that he doesn’t have elite talent.

Your augment is so paper thin, it’s sad. These 6 teams could’ve evaluated him as something for day 3. They also could’ve evaluated him as day 2 and seen him drop and worried about the extra fanfare involved in taking him at that point. And the teams that didn’t need a starting QB who could’ve used a backup may not have had any read on who he was as a prospect and been scared away by the drop.

But yeah, every team saw him as day 3. It’s such a lazy argument.

Of course… the league is historically not great at evaluating QB talent.

But to suggest… as many are doing… that NFL teams bypassed drafting him earlier in the draft as a collusion conspiracy… is ridiculous.

Oh, I intensely dislike him. I dislike his dad even more. I hope this knocks his ego down a few notches.

But he’s achieved a lot as a QB that has nothing to do with nepotism or a silver spoon in his mouth. Certainly more than the loser son of the Falcons DC who felt the need to prank him. That’s just sad and I can’t imagine disliking Sanders for where he’s come from but then celebrating this ****ing brat as a hero.

History tells us that what round a player was drafted isn't a great indicator for how their career is going to turn out, just saying. Neither is elite talent, whatever that means to the individual, or great athleticism. If those things mattered that much then Ryan Leaf and Jamarcus Russell would've been perennial SB contenders and in the HoF by now, but they ain't.
Congratulations on finding exceptions.

Most modern QBs who are successful were drafted in the first round.

You think that a team desperate for a QB would pass up an opportunity to draft him earlier if that’s how they scouted his talent… simply because of the “extra fanfare”?

Teams will do anything to get who they think is a franchise QB.

Clearly every team that needed a QB didn’t see that with Fraudeur.
