*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Getting over the playoff hump, or crashing back to a cellar team... hey... they took a shot on a top 10 QB in the draft. The big swing on a 3-2 bases loaded pick was attempted.

Next few years WILL be very exciting!

Absolute must read. It's a cover letter Mahomes sent every team before the draft.

Watch how fast he turns into a PM2 asskisser once he is the starter and is breaking records while winning multiple SB's!!

Yes. He didn't win in a shitty B12 and never beat a winning B12 team ever.

Listening to Pat Kirwan on SiriusXM on my lunch and he said that one of the Chiefs assistants is a good friend. He said that the first time Reid watched a Mahomes game....he said "That's Brett Favre. I want him."

Brett is one of my favorite players of all time. If Andy thinks they look similar, that says a Lot.

Ken Dorsey was a "winner." Alex Smith is a "winner."

You can't win when your D gives up 60 points per game.

Matt Ryan didn't get rich on his 1st contract?

Ryan became the second top draft choice to sign when he accepted a six-year, $72 million contract that included $34.75 million in guarantees.

The **** you say?

Holy shit

I still can't believe it! Watching that unfold was so refreshing and well worth the wait. I had to check my drawers for fresh racing stripes but thank goodness it was just a fart.

And the price to trade up? That's nothing for how far they came up. Next years first and the 3 this year are normally just the starting point of negotiations in that type of deal. Great job by Dorsey being aggressive and getting their guy! Can't understate how surprised I am he didn't have to give up more.

Watching his film and the quick release and quick flip on his bubble screen passes it totally translates from him playing shortstop. Kid can turn a double play with a football just as fast and accurate as a baseball smh...great time to be a fan

A good omen for Mahomes...

On the day he was born, September 17, 1995, the Chiefs won in dramatic fashion, beating the Raiders at Arrowhead in OT, 23-17 with a 64 yard James Hasty INT return for a TD.
