The Broncos are tied for the worst in the league in red zone TD %. They have ZERO so far. 0/6 so far. Last year they were 54.7% TD percentage in the red zone.

They averaged 19.7 PPG on offense last year and this year it’s 16!

So you gave up tons of draft picks for a worse offense and your HC is worse than Fangio.

You really can’t make this up

There has to be a real threat that the HB can run it. The saints had Taysom do it many times. The dungvers just dont have the threat to make it work imo.

Yes, KC has Mahomes and Reid, but they also have OBJ and Wylie at tackle and a bunch of JAGs at WR. They're not the same explosive team they've been in the past. They don't have Hill drawing the attention of a defense, opening up massive passing windows for everyone else. KC doesn't have this thing wrapped up before the season has been played out.

KC had one of the most efficient offensive games in decades in week 1. They don't need big plays to score.

Mahomes' updated stats without Hill: 15 TD/ 1 INT, 333 ypg, 66% comp, 109.9 rating, 6-1 record. Oh no! It's all coming to an end.

I just noticed that you said the AFC West is up for grabs. It might be up for grabs, but Denver sure as hell isn't in the mix.

One was due to a penalty. One would have been a tough catch.

So two legit dropped INTs. Wilson's thrown at least two directly to a DB with no one else in sight.

Along with generally looking like crap vs bad teams, of course...

That’s a fluke. In the red zone we’ve had:

• Two fumbles on the 1
• A TD taken away because our TE was a half inch from getting his feet inbounds
• A TD taken away because of a false start on a WR who was away from the play
• A gimme TD taken away due to a batted pass (the one and only batted pass at the LOS we’ve had all year)

Much like our bad injury luck and our bad luck on fumble recoveries - 5 FF with only 1 recovery, which is normally 50/50 - our bad red zone luck will not continue.

It's a pattern, and against bad teams, it's not going to magically get better/easier when you start playing teams that aren't bottom 5 in the league.

That’s not a fluke, it’s a pattern. It’s caused by having bad players, and bad coaching.

Yep, that's a fluke alright. It's really tough when you play 2 of the worst teams in the entire league right out of the gate. Tends to really skew your stats badly.

Time to drop the BS "two fumbles at the 1" narrative. It was a failed 4th down conversion. Doesn't matter if the ball popped loose. Btw, Melvin Gordon fumbling isn't exactly like getting struck by lightning.

I like how you included the pass that was batted 5000 ft into the air. Yes, that was most definitely a fluke "reception," but I'm not sure how it belongs in this list.

The funniest thing about all this is that you're making excuses about injuries (like clockwork), and yet you think the team is going to magically overcome their "bad luck" when they start facing real teams.
