The Bills take the AFC this seasom

Are you ready for some football!?

I know I am!

With that, I am here to make a proclamation!

The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.

For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.

A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.

The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

Let’s go mighty Buffalo Bills! 🦬 🦬 🦬

In the 13 second game...one of his late 4th quarter TDs was because the CB fell down. There is no guarantee the Bills score on that drive without it happening.

Maybe Allen can get a MVP this year...like Jackson did last year. Until he proves he can will his to team to win in the highest pressure games...he wont get the respect you think he deserves.
Allen got away with 2 turnover worthy plays in the final drive against KC last year. Fumble & Interception ball where KC didn’t take advantage. He is a pretty lucky bastard. Got away with 3 interception balls against Houston several weeks ago, but the Buffalo fans like to ignore that kind of stuff.

Yeah. And total TDs is bullshit when you're talking about "best" QB. Is Josh better because he's a LB playing QB, vulturing 1 and 2 yd tds from his running backs?

Jalen Hurts has 11 more rushing TDs than Allen since '21. Is he now in conversation with Allen for best QB?

Nah.

Take stuff out. Add stuff in. It's all bullshit. You can't decide who the best anything is by simple, raw numbers. But it's not hard to see who the best players are. If you're objective.

What’s funny about Bills fans constantly moving goal posts is that they spent years trying to bring down Mahomes by saying his short TD passes don’t count. Now that he’s not getting them because they are running basically all of them in they demand Allen be viewed as better because of stats. But of course never a peep about Allen the QB turned FB getting goal line run plays on first and second down, and then still talking up his total TDs.

In 2018 before the Draft, a lot of people criticized Josh Allen for his college numbers looking kind of ugly (low completion percentage, etc). Josh responded, “Stats are for losers.” He is right about that. Lamar Jackson, Peyton Manning, & Aaron Rodgers have 11 regular season MVP’s because of fancy regular season stats. They have 3 rings combined. Not exactly what you want to see in the Playoffs.

The Bills do seem like the one team that could poach the 1 seed away from us.

We have the tiebreaker with the Ravens. They’d realistically have to go like 14-3 to finish a game up on us.

No one in the West is a factor.

Texans have several really tough games remaining. They look like a 12-5 or 11-6 team to me. That won’t get it done.

The Bills have a pretty favorable remaining schedule. @Seattle, KC, SF, and @Detroit seem like the best chances for losses. Who knows what will be left of SF by then?

They just play some really bad teams the rest of the way.

Teams the Bills have beaten: Cardinals, Dolphins, Jaguars, Jets, Titans
Teams the Bills have lost to: Ravens, Texans

No team that they've defeated has more than 2 wins on the season. Their close loss to the Texans is probably more impressive than any of their wins. Looking forward to seeing what happens when they play winning teams 3 of the next 4 games.

Bills fans hang their hats on being the most popular team in the world. HTF they came up with this country by country breakdown is a bit mysterious

Buffalo & Houston both got pretty easy schedules. They drew each other’s division matchups. So that’s 3 extra weak opponents for the two of them, on top of 6 easy divisional games because the AFC South & AFC East are terrible outside of Houston/Buffalo.

I have more faith in the Texans losing to a bad team than the Bills.

Bills sure love beating up on awful opponents. Texans seem more prone to dropping one.

Also, the Texans still have the Ravens left. Bad matchup for Houston.

49ers may be completely out of it by the time they play the Bills. That’s a lucky break for them.
