I think they’ve got to be better than the Bears and one or two others there, but then, we also know they’re not as good as the Bengals.

They called Simms a hater for predicting 6 wins. Hell, if you look at the schedule, it’s not easy to find that many.

Yep, when the schedule came out, I thought they'd get 8-9 wins. Now they're looking at 4-6

Even with the penalties, red zone woes and the slow decision making Denver is 11th in DVOA.

They'll get the kinks ironed out. They just have to stay healthy and they'll be a playoff team.

You have zero chance of finishing with a better record than any of these teams:

Buffalo, KC, LAC, Cincinnati, Baltimore, Miami. And we might as well throw in the Raiders too. Then you have the AFC South champ.

But keep cherry-picking stats that make you feel good after two woeful efforts vs two of the three worst teams in the league.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Bears. Easy to do, but I bet they would beat Denver if they played in Chicago...I said their ceiling was 9-8 and their floor was 7-9 before the season. But they have looked terrible and the coaching is pathetic, so I can see them only winning 6.
