I trust Reid to make the decision too, and never once claimed I had the answer like countless other posters have. So saying "not me" was completely unnecessary. |

"Let them compete" Andy Reid for the #2 spot to back up Alex Smith.
So all Patrick Mahomes II has to do is beat out Tyler Bray and he will be suiting up for game day. Suck it if you are not down for competition. Let them play it out. |

If Tyler Bray out performs Patrick Mahomes II then that is a good thing for Patrick to get his shit together and work that much harder.
Tyler Bray been in the system for 5 years so he has no excuse not to be back up. This makes it more fun. |

I know what you mean...it's tough being patient with football...especially when your favorite team has something potentially exciting in the works. I have to keep myself in check all the time when it comes to that.
I'm going to the Steelers vs. Chiefs game this year with a bus-load of people...one of the things that keeps on skimming through my mind is, "I hope I get to see Patrick Mahomes play so I can actually have the feeling that I am watching the Chiefs play with an actual QB!!!" Then I have to keep myself in check the next second by thinking, "shit...he's 21 years old and likely needs a lot more development prior to being sent to the wolves. Oh great, another Alex game." God, I had endzone seats at the Bucs vs. Chiefs game last year. He threw that end zone INT right in front of me. I wanted to barf. Hell the first game I ever went to was Chiefs vs. 49ers in 2010...Cassel vs. Smith. |

I hope I am way off base, but I can see us going 2-7 or 3-6.
Raiders are going to be much better defensively and their offense will take another step forward. The Chargers had injuries right from the start last year that really hurt them. So they should be better also. Our D/special teams was matching the offense scores almost every week. You can't expect our D to put up even 1/2 the points they did last. We had so many things go our way in games last year. Unrealistic to expect it to continue as the frequency of 2016. So where have be improved? I would say there is not any aspect of the roster which has improved. If Houston returns to form which there is no reason to expect otherwise, the pass rush should be better. If Hill and Conley step-up maybe the WR unit is better. But, this is a big if. The return game should take a huge step backwards, assuming Hill will be removed from that role with him having #1 WR duties. So the O is just what if was last year. 16-20 point production per week. Special team will not flip the field (or score) nearly as much, and the D will be good but can't be expected to score a TD in 2/3 of the games. Adds up to a some close losses with Alex limitations. |
