Let's talk about the Miami Dolphins

Here is my $500,000 question on this game.

Will Spags and Co play it straight and keep their powder dry for the playoffs?

Last season the Chiefs defense (and maybe Andy, don't recall) kept things very vanilla when they went to Cincy.

They lost that battle, but won the war, because the defensive wrinkles Spags wanted to use against the Bengals were unveiled in the AFC Championship and held their offense at bay just enough for gimpy Mahomes to drag us over the finish line late.

Will Spags come into this game guns blazing and try to take out the Dolphins early this season? OR will he keep his cards hidden for the real season?

KC lost to Buffalo, Cincinnati, and worst of all Indy last year. How did that turn out?

People seem to forget we have a game like the Broncos game every single year. Where nothing goes right and we lose one we shouldn't.

2022 was the Colts
2021 was the Titans where we scored 3 points
2020 was the Raiders; although we did score 32 it was one we shouldn't have lost
2019 was again, the Colts

The weird thing is people are acutely aware of that going into every game as they remind us every ****ing week (wElL tHeY did LoSe To The vIkInGs In 1995!*)... then it happens and they act like it's never happened before and it's the end of the season.

(°I don't know if they played the Vikings in 1995)

Vegas is loving this game. After the Chiefs laid an egg in Denver all the bets will be on Miami. Chiefs going to beat that Dolphin ass!

Looking at the Dolphins wins, they haven't beaten anybody good. Barely beat the Chargers in Week 1 and the rest of their wins are to the following teams:

Patriots x2
Broncos
Giants
Panthers

They got smoked by the two quality opponents they played: Bills and Eagles

Rich Eisen was on his show and told about his conversations with the team and players getting ready for the broadcast of the game.

He said that Reid called out the character of the team. Their commitment at a meeting with the players/ Mahomes and Kelce both spoke up too at the meeting. He thinks they are going to be a focused team and we will see their best on Sunday.

It was explained yesterday, too, but he's so dumb and uncreative his troll bit is limited to repeating the same thing over and over while posting the same Dwight gif as if it's supposed to send me into a rage or something, then projecting by calling people triggered and so forth.

Hell, even diqlix gave us CP notes and scho gave us icons and receipts, and neither of them are attending Mensa meetings.

Did you hear the Chiefs offense is ranked 12th?

12th.

They're ranked 12th.

WHY AREN'T YOU MADDER ABOUT THIS, ARE YOU TRIGGERED YET.

12th.

I feel good about this one. Miami seems like the kind of real good team we should beat.

We’ve had success with the shanahan system lately and while last week a fangio-like scheme shut us down, he’s also the guy who consulted the eagles in the Super Bowl. Overall I think our offense is capable of doing just enough through efficiency.

On offense they are really good but this also feels like the shanahan system our defense is capable of matching up against. Past 2 weeks Miami has been kinda just ok. I think they’re good enough to throttle many defenses but I think against the very best youlll see more of “effective enough. “

In the end I think it feels like it’s a battle of which offense will be more efficient and I think they’ll have more challenges with our defense than they will with ours

Yeh I feel like we matchup with them fairly well too. I also think we're going to get a hyped fired up Chiefs team Sunday too.
