I remember that game. It was one the biggest choke jobs in recent memory...actually felt bad for Vikings fans.

I didnt remember it was was against the Seahawks...they should have lost that game.

Interesting...in 2020, Wilson started hot then DCs starting taking away his tendency to throw outside...it doesn't appeared he's solved that puzzle since.

First 8 games..305 ypg, 28 Tds
Final 8 games...208 ypg, 12 Tds

2021 14 games 222 ypg, 25 Tds

He's averaging 215 YPG over his last season and a half...and was actually slightly better last year than at the end of 2020. So the injury excuse doenst hold water...

He’s proven time and time again that he needs an elite defense to have any chance of winning in the playoffs.

But hey his 2 wins over Detroit and Josh McCown were sure great. Did I mention his defense gave up a combined 15 points in those 2 games?
Russ is elite and you know it. You were much more effusive in your praise of Russ shortly after the trade than you are now. You were one of the few Chiefs fans on CP who knew how much Russ was being held back by Pete Carroll.

Here is Joe Banner to remind you of the things you've, apparently, forgotten over the past 6 months:

One thing I mentioned a few months ago...and one of the more interesting subplots of opening weekend. Carroll is a defensive minded HC...he saw how teams starting playing Moobs plus knows his weaknesses better than any other team.

It's been said many times that Wilson can only play one style of offense...which would echo his last year and a half. The 2021 experiment with a new OC didn't go well...

Seahawks could very well be laying out a blueprint for defending him in week one...kind of a rare occurrence in the first game.

Elite QB’s don’t lose countless playoff games and only beat scrubs/poor franchises. He hasn’t beaten and legit team in the playoffs since Marshawn and the LOB was carrying him

I like how Knowmo says Andy Reid isn’t elite bc of his playoff troubles but won’t say that about Wilson who has been as bad as Alex Smith in the playoffs.

And there’s a track record of this happening for 8 years

Careful. He went to, and won, just as many Super Bowls as Mahomes his first three years. i don't think Mahomes is going to replicate his early success either. Russ was Mahomes before Mahomes.

I was really surprised how bad Sutton's numbers were...considering the media acts like he's a legit #1 WR. Those were WR3 stats...0 TDs over the final 10 games?

What happens now...Patrick and Fant are gone. It appears defenses were able to neutralize him even when those two were playing.

60% of their skill position TD production is gone...and they replaced them with serious JAGS.

That's going to be trouble...no matter who your QB is.
