It sounds like he's using corn, but taking them out too soon.

I'm hitting the driving range this morning and decided to make a Michelada before going. It's definitely not La Cabanas famous Michelada mix. I'm trying to figure out what's missing. Still good either way.

Here's the base recipe I use:
