Simms has Denver at 6-11/7-10..apparently he didn't the get league mandated Walton puff memo. He better shape up if he wants a career being a NBC mouthpiece.

He pretty much echoed everything I've been saying...they both said Wilson looked bad last season.

Starts at 5:00...I like Simms...he pretty much call things as he sees them.

I'm just not seeing it with this Denver roster. Same with advanced scouts. It's a barely .500 team unless Vincent Kennedy Goodell gets involved

If it wasn't for the cheap thin air and a soft start (again) I could see 6-11. That's about the talent they have. But throw in the soft start, cheap wins from altitude, and an obvious agenda to try and make them relevant...you have 9 to 10 wins

Pretty much...funny Simms saying "it was a small miracle that the Raiders made the post-season".."a lot teams had to stumble down the stretch for it to happen".

Well that and a NFL record 5 walk off wins in the first season that their stadium was open to fans.

Funny how these things happen in a timely fashion for the Raiders...12-4 the year the announce they are moving...then sucking...then play-offs the year the new stadium is finally open.

One had 8 4th quarter comebacks...the other had a historic 5 walk off wins.

So to your point...if the NFL wants to manufacture the Walton Broncos to the post-season...it can be done.

Yep. Simms is always a good listen.

He's very high on KC this year too.

So Paton signs Randy Gregory to a pretty big deal averaging $14 million/yr and trades Malik Reed, who…

-Has 1.5 less career sacks in only 3 years as a pro
-has more sacks in 2020 then Gregory has ever had in a season
-was on pace to tie for most sacks with Gregory last year (missed 2 games)

Paton also gave up a 7th to get rid of him too for just a 6th.

Paton panicked and traded valuable picks for an older qb who is up for a new deal soon and blew a bunch of money on an edge rusher who hasn’t done much in his career.

After all of this they’re still seen by the majority as finishing third or 4th in the division.

I’m glad he’s running the Broncos

One guy is 6'5'' 255lbs with ridiculous burst.

The other guy is 6'2'' 235lbs with average athletic ability.

Malik Reed is solid depth. Randy Gregory is a freak show. Kudos to General Paton for getting compensation for a guy who wasn't going to make the team.

I’d probably ignore hyping up your depth in the future after the 40 point beatdown the Bills’ backups gave you

They lost 3 first round picks. 2019 (Fant), 2022 and 2023 as well as a 2023 2nd that’s lost. They lost their best pass rusher (Von) and their 2nd best statistical pass rusher (Harris).

Money is about to get real tight for them with Wilson wanting big bucks.

Hard to keep up with the Chargers who have picks and the Chiefs who have 9 picks in the first 3 rds in 2022/2023 combined.

The Broncos don’t even pick until rd 3 in the next draft
