Let's talk about the Jaguars

No rest for the weary. The train keeps rolling on.

This is going to be a huge test, but at least its at home.

How does this one play out?

Hopefully Chad Henne can be insightful. for this game. Kind of like how Mychal Kendricks was on Hard Knocks...when he gave that speech/rundown about the Eagles players before they played them in an exhibition game. Having Henne definitely won’t hurt when it comes to the preparation....may not help, at all...but won’t hurt.

Doesn’t Bortles generally play pretty poorly on the road?

You’re looking at it all wrong. It’s high scoring. We win 40-9.

Weak spots do not exist enough with that defense to avoid their good players for long stretches.

But the same goes for the Chiefs offense. Gotta give your playmakers chances, doesn’t matter who they’re playing against.

Yeah, Ramsey, Jack, Bouye, etc. may be able to cover our guys better than most defenses, but our receivers can beat them more consistently than other offenses.

98 passer rating vs. 65. He’s atrocious on the road.

Our best chance at explosive plays is with Demetrius Harris, Chris Conley and Demarcus Robinson on the other corners. We spread it out a lot and Jacksonville’s slot corner is out...so some guys named Tyler Patmon and Tre Herndon will be covering Conley and Robinson a lot. Harris should have a few opportunities for big plays down the seam, too.

Mahomes needs to be careful not to try to do too much against Jacksonville. That defense is other worldly, but it has weak points that we should be able to attack to put points on the board.

If those 3 have good games and Mahomes protects the ball otherwise, we should have a chance to win this one at home.
They don't move their corners...you could attack their interior with your 1 and 2 if you moved them around.

Do you guys remember the hype surrounding the opening game against the Pats?

Do you remember all the nogs declaring that the Pats were probably going undefeated that year? Their phenomenal home record against the AFC? Against everybody? Their record in home openers? With a lead at halftime? All that?

My God in Heaven ... twisted undergarments are so unfashionable.

Tre Herndon is questionable at corner on the latest IR. Who do they bring in next?

Andy Reid has basically beaten the shit out of Bill Belichick's defenses the last two times they met in the regular season.

Can't imagine this time will be any different.
