Stadium Watch 2024 -Jackson County Residents: How Are You Voting?

Vote in this poll if you actually live in Jackson county.

We've all shared our opinions in the other thread. But who gives a shit what somebody in Platte County or Johnson County or Phoenix or NYC thinks. We're all just noise.

Technically, they just don't want Royals baseball downtown.

I 100% have thought from the beginning that's what is going to happen. That Sam McDowell article about Kansas coming after the Chiefs a couple months ago had to be leaked by the Chiefs to create some buzz. I don't buy into all the doom and gloom at all about the teams moving to other cities but I do think tonight might have been the death of Arrowhead Stadium. We're all going to be on here complaining in 10 years how the new stadium doesn't have the same atmosphere and that's kind of sad but that's how it goes with these things.

If that’s the deal then we will lose them. Amy stadium is going to be tax funded.

The "parking" freak out was hilarious to me. Where will we park??!!!

Probably the same place people park when they go to the downtown games in St. Louis and Cincinnati and Cleveland and Pittsburgh and Detroit and Minneapolis and Baltimore and Phoenix and Denver and....

The whole thing has been bizarre
Looking back now, it does make we wonder if the teams didn't secretly want this to fail. Sure wasn't exactly an aggressive push on their part.

Chiefs can't really go anywhere unless a full relocation to Europe is on the table.

But the more I think about it, yeah, the Royals are toast.

Chiefs HAVE to distance themselves from the losers if they are serious about staying at Arrowhead. You don’t even want the royals Twitter account going to bat for you if you’re Clark. They’re poison.

Let’s look on the bright side. We get Mahomes for the majority of his career and all of his prime. Once he retires, wellll…..look at the Patriots. Oklahoma City or whatever can have that. Once the Chiefs are good again by 2090, we’ll all be dead anyway.

There will be another report next year about them doing deep deep scans at Arrowhead and finding concrete cancer just like the K.
