At least this time they have a valid reason for optimism. It's at least plausible that they'll be able to check the QB and HC boxes. Last year it wasn't.

But even if they're significantly better, I doubt that they'll be at the Chiefs' level. I expect KC to be improved too.

It's very possible that Denver could still be a perennial cellar dweller in this division, even with a playoff-caliber team.

You're not telling anyone anything we don't already know. We all feel the same way about MHM. He and I have been going at it literally for decades. All in good fun. But you'll find MHM to be a lot more "dismissive" if Denver ever gets good again. He's just biding his time...
