That is an astute question.

We'll just have to pick and choose the ones we want to pay, trade, or let walk. Then replace them with more rookies and stop-gap vets, which is what we're doing.

A few years down the road we'll be out of Clark's debacle of a contract and Chris Jones is off the books. We'll have more money then. So instead of paying one stud player, we'll be able to pay three solid players.

The days of our top heavy, juggernaut, style of dominating the NFL are in the rear view mirror. We will win with a well balanced team with a super star QB and great OL. Veach's knack for finding gems in the draft will be vital. I think it's the only sensible approach at this point.

Clowney, Ingram, and Clark is a decent veteran rotation, and paired with some young'uns would be perfectly okay.

I could see Veach moving around a little, small jumps up or back to get specific guys, but I kind of doubt there's a huge 'jump way up in the first round to get Jameson Williams' type move on the horizon.

I could be wrong, but I just doubt it.

Honestly, I hope you’re right. We have all those picks and we need several players. It wouldn’t be smart to make a huge trade and give away all the value we got from the trade.

Any moves down would include a pick next year.. that's the way to do it. Come into the drafts with an abundance of picks and go from there.

I’d be fine if they found a trade partner that was a high second round and traded down to grab a high second and like a 5th even if they threw in a seventh for it. Preferably trade off the 30 and see if they get an offer right away to also trade down for the 29th afterwards by someone trying to jump whatever team just traded for the 30.
Would love to see 4 2nd round picks and an additional 2 in the 5th
