*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Lol @ "that would've been picked in the NFL"

Doesn't even make sense because you'd have to change the context of the play entirely. That wasn't even close to a pick on that play.

Besides, the point is the arm strength and effortlessness rolling to the left.

We see guys like Rodgers, Carr and Big Ben make throws like this for TD's all the time.

Saying "that would be an obvious pick" isn't accurate. If people think that, I'm happy to gif up examples.

It's not going to be picked, if say, a DB blows the coverage and the receiver is running free.

Mahomes is then going to hit that shit for six.

Whereas you can be sure Alex won't even attempt that throw, because he knows he doesn't have the arm for it from that kind of body position. He's just going to try and avoid a sack there.

Yes. Plan to go with my son Saturday Aug. 5th family fun day.

Should be fun no matter what I've never been to TC so any suggestions would be great. Is there any place to camp close by?

We've had WAAAAY too many receivers outrun the coverage for potential scores that have been squandered the last two years. That's about to come to an end.

In precisely one year, yes. Until then, keep on fapping to that fat boy Martyball groove!...

Generally, yes that's an easily picked play. That's why even the QBs you listed barely ever try to do that shit. I'd be pissed the **** off if Berry, Parker or one of our CBs didn't pick that kind of throw off. I mean you can find gifs of anything. A RB going from one side of the field, and trying to double back to the other is usually a stupid decision, but I can find a gif of it working. Doesn't mean it's good.

I like the fact that he can do that more than the fact that he did do it.

Carr trash talk is hilarious.

The guy in only his third season was an MVP candidate until he was injured.

He's the real deal.

I agree. I don't know a Chiefs fan that didn't want him prior to the Mahomes pick. We'd be very fortunate if Mahomes turns out as good as Carr.

Carr is a great guy. Very well liked. I don't hate him at all. But he is overrated. He can't even beat the Chiefs

If Faid's defense is improved, they can beat anyone.

They went 12-3 with Carr at the helm, carrying a pretty bad defense.

It was vs Louisiana Tech... Mahomes had 2 minutes- on L-Techs 20 with a timeout, scrambled like he always does and his brain went into Sandlot football and it was intercepted in the endzone- Game over

This is the NFL... that Texas Tech sh*t aint gonna work on this level... Dude better get use to standing tall and become a pocket passer or his career will end as fast as RGIII

That's not bc of him tho.

The Raiders are basically the Lions of the AFC. Very good young QB with a vastly overrated coach holding them back.
