So lets talk some legit options for our pick.

So with Breeland coming back that pretty much leaves us open to take the best player on the board.

I'd like in this thread to post some videos and such since in a lot of threads there are questions about how good a guy is and what he can do so twitter and youtube of course are great for vids.

Even though I've pined for Willie Gay quite a bit there are numerous other guys I'd be fine with using our pick on because well they'd be fine fits.

So I'll start with some Willie Gay video since I've been asked a few times what he's good at...

I am not a mock drafter. John Ross got drafted before Patrick Mahomes so sure, why not take Ruggs before Jeudy.

Ruggs has that speed and that is what everyone wants, that's how it happens.

Speed is so much more important.

You and I both know that on draft day it matters, everyone sees Tyreek Hill and wants that, our own team drafts guys on 40 times..look at our roster for god sakes.

Also Michael Thomas is very lucky he went to a team that knew how to use a receiver like that, because he does have limitations.

No but with Mahomes arm strength, having 4 wr that are super fast make it impossible to defend.

I love speed receivers, too, but I just can’t see them drafting another small/shifty/speed guy. You do need a physical X receiver or two on the roster for a variety of reasons, but especially in the red zone and when trying to block downfield.

Watkins is a dynamite speed guy with size and RAC ability. If they’re drafting another WR high, it’s that type of guy.

That would not surprise me. He is the prototype. Plays soft but he is talented.

I don't care that much but if you want the power receiver Pittman is the guy I would choose.

On Watkins: Take a look at the big plays he made in the post-season. None of them had anything to do with size. It was route running to create separation.

I'd love for the Chiefs to end up with Moss. He would be great in our system. Hunt was such fun to watch run. Moss would be near as fun to watch.

Moss has some injury questions and with what this year is he could fall.

My goodness, thank you! Pittman might be my favourite receiver in this draft.

6’4”, 220lbs. - Pittman has a huge catch radius and his high point ability is great. For such a big guy, Pittman is fluid in and out of breaks and runs efficient routes. He is a smart football player that is a plus asset in the red zone because of his size. But another thing that jumps out about Pittman is his devastating blocking ability and he is a MONSTER on special teams. He was a team captain at USC and his coaches have nothing but praise for him in terms of how he plays the game. If he is on the board still near the bottom of the second round, I can only pray that the Chiefs would consider him for their offence, because he would be an instant matchup nightmare and plus special-teams asset at the bare minimum.

I don't want to start a new thread-thing (those never work out for me, anyhow) and I know this isn't "exactly" on topic ...

But what do we know about Darius Harris? We hired him last year and sat him for some reason (injury?) ... in that sense, he's kinda like a draft pick-type person.

BJ Kissel keeps talking him up and, apparently, Veachy likes him.

In a world in which lateral movement and speed are traits desired in the modern linebacker, I just wonder what he offers the Super Bowl Champions.

He reminds me a lot of Courtland Sutton. Think he’s a top 50 pick tbh. He’s one of the risers from what I’ve read
