I think the leather SLIM profile 'non bulky' flip-flops are super rad and very comfortable. They're not for everyone, I get it - it's cool dogs.

I wear flip flops whenever I want to and I don't really care what anybody thinks. But anybody who wears crocks is gay. Not pitcher gay. Catcher gay. If you have dangling bits and you wear crocks then you are the girl part of your gay marriage. That's just the way it is. I'm sorry for you and your plus-size sphincter, croc-wearer.

Either way, I don't wear them. Nothing wrong with a guy wearing flip flops, though.

I will say that good flip flops are incredibly hard to find. I got a pair from J Crew about 5 years ago that were the shit, and I've never been able to find another pair like them. They had a solid fabric strap (kind of like seatbelt material), and they had a thick (maybe 3 millimeters) rubber sole with light tread on the bottom underneath the foam.

They were comfortable as hell, didn't cause me to slide around, and they lasted a long time. I wish I had bought 3 pairs at the time. They were like $25 which is outrageous for flip flops, but they were worth it (although I probably got them on sale at the time).

If anyone knows what I'm talking about, let me know where to find them. I got a similar pair from Banana last year, and they're pretty good, but the rubber part of their soles aren't as thick.

I just cant get into the "euro" shoes. This is what Germans have been wearing since the 1970s and they scream "Deiter" to me. But alas, I'm a country throwback. I wear flip flops, running shoes, or cross trainers in the spring and summer, and Danner boots in the fall and winter. Thats it. Pretty boring, but I'm married, look good regardless of the footwear I have on, so I pretty much say "eff em" regarding shoes. I want functionality and comfort. Danner or Redwing boots, Merrell cross trainers, New Balance running shoes, and pretty much whatever flip flops I picked up on my last vacation that are usually canvas or leather.

This might not be fashion advice but today at the gym the guy in the shower across from mine was shaving his balls.
In your opinion Red is it ok to publicly manscape?

I can't outrun buffalo, bears or indians in those flip flops.

Those are not made for me.

I apparently need a new pair of work dress shoes. My existing pair are approaching 10 years old.

They need to be black. I noticed this week that a lot of men are wearing "slip-on" shoes with "square" toes.

Recommendations, please?

Dude! Just, Dude! No it's not ok to shave your balls in public (saying a small prayer right now that whoever that guys is, cuts his testicular artery in the shower next time).

Why were you checking out the guy's nether region?

Thanks. I didn't think so either. I was drying off when out of the corner of my eye I see the dude across from me looking down with his hands on himself.
I did a quick half-glance to see WTF and was surprised as hell.
I'm thinking it's a gym, not your bathroom. You get in, you shower off, you get the hell out.
