***Official 4/18/25 Royals (Ragans) @ Tigers (Jobe) Gameday Thread***

The Boys are back playing some Ball today. KC ace Cole Ragans @ Tigers with their own ace-in-the-making, Jackson Jobe, on the mound.

The usurious line for this one is Royals -142 / Tigers +120. 20 cent lines were too generous so the sportsbook has increased that to 22 cents, which is nice for them.

1. Jonathan India (R) 3B
2. Bobby Witt Jr. (R) SS
3. V. Pasquantino (L) 1B
4. Salvador Perez (R) C
5. Michael Massey (R) 2B
6. Hunter Renfroe (R) RF
7. Cavan Biggio (R) 1B
8. Maikel Garcia (R) 3B
9. Kyle Isbel (R) CF

@

1. J. Malloy (R) RF
2. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
3. Riley Greene (L) LF
4. Andy Ibáñez (R) 3B
5. S. Torkelson (R) 1B
6. Kerry Carpenter (R) LF
7. Javier Báez (R) 3B
8. Tomás Nido (R) C
9. Zach McKinstry (R) RF

Should be interesting to see how the Royals new strategy of starting two first basemen in the same game turns out. They're also gonna have lefty hitter Michael Massey try hitting right handed, according to https://fantasydata.com/mlb/daily-lineups

They have 6 players at .200 or less. Including Salvy and Pasquantino. Also India.

Well we got our 1 run and they got 1 more than us. That should be a rap.

He’s great when the Royals are good. But his schtick wears thin real quick when things are going bad.

True story Deberg, I was an Angel fan for many years. This because I was born in Orange County CA and my parents would take me to Angel games if I got good grades.

Things changed in the OC and the family fled and I'm now moving to Kansas City to enjoy Boulevard beer and a tornado death.

But the wonderdog was the announcer for the Angels and he's still the announcer of my preferred team, it's just now the Royals. Big deal if he got caught with a marijuana joint. I don't think that's a bad sin really.

I'm out, our team can't bat their way out of this hole.

Bad ownership, bad team building, bad coaching, most of our players couldn't start on many AAA teams, much less MLB teams.

Sad for our quality players, they have no support..

Oh I knew it was a loss when I laid it. Had to come up with some reason to keep an eye on this game. Think I’ll just skip them for a while. I’m going next Saturday so probably gonna tune out until then. Maybe someone will have decided to try and hit by then.

If that's what it takes to motivate the players to win I'll drive over there every couple of years to watch a game.
