Guess my location

I'm going on one of my occasional walkabouts. Over the next two months, I'll post a dozen or so photos of my location. First one to guess my location correctly wins nothing but a little satisfaction with wasting their time on this thread. I'll generally point at the item of interest so you know it's me and not an imposter.

If I get kidnapped by natives or jungle rebels or aliens, please write to your congressperson to get me released.

Funny thing is, I would never have guessed SoFlo. Those types of lifeguard boxes aren’t typical of Florida beaches. The pic was giving me Cali vibes.

Beaches Daytona and North are hard as concrete. Soft sand would be Cocoa Beach south to Miami. Beach water gets really Clear from Sebastian Inlet south to Miami.

We're accustomed to California beaches, or at least a few of them. The Miami Beach beach was far larger and more accessible. We were impressed.

I'm guessing the lifeguard stands are branding for the City. Apparently every one of them is custom and different, albeit with similar design standards.

My wife and I may start coming to Miami more regularly. We had a really good experience here. I'd been to Fort Lauderdale a couple of times in the past and thought it was nice, but I'd never been to Miami proper.
