I grew up being an Oriole fan mostly because they were a good team and on TV a lot in the late 60's early 70's. He sucked at hitting but it was fun to watch him field.

You're totally right.

Ken Boyer and Craig Nettles (I'm glad you mentioned him) are two old timer 3B that I would support for Hall of Fame induction.

Nettles would be beloved in the modern game, but he has a career .248 AVG, which was frowned upon in his time.
