Fate/Destiny/FitzMagic Believers Thread

I get it. We all have some level of PTSD.

But we've been gifted some amazing things over the past two weeks.

Let's not be discouraged by some non-descript Native American curse. (Shout out, SDH.)

Nor Lin Elliot missed FGs from a generation ago.

Nor a defense that failed us by failing to produce a single punt in 2003 or a single stop in 2013.

Nor Jeff Triplette. Nor Dee Ford.

The stars are aligning. Time to join hands, do trust falls, and sing Koombaya.

Individually, CP is a cesspool, but together, we are a more cohesive cesspool on our way to the SB.

Ahem “still standing”? I think today just proved how good ur QB is. We have the best in the league bar one. The media can Prop Lamar up all they want but we all know Mahomes is the cream of the crop.

Well, I'm on board, but I'm that guy smiling but quiet, somewhere in the middle of the bus. Think of this season, and the magic we have seen:

So many injuries, Reek out twice, Pat injured for 2.5 games, Jones, Clark, Fish...so many injuries. Yet the team weathered that and only lost 4 games, all of them within one score.

Beat the Patriots in their house. They had a lot of gifts from the refs, but got totally screwed on the one gift to the Chiefs (which probably would not have won them the game but would have made it very very uncomfortable). That never happens.

Run the table after Pat's injury, 6 in a row and the 3 seed, when it seemed like we were maybe 4 seed at best and would have a long road to a SB.

The Dolphins...****ING DOLPHINS...win at Foxboro to give the Chiefs the #2 and a by week. What the...

The Tits...knock out Brady and expose that POS organization for what they are...by a coach who was a beloved player on their team. Brady's possible last throw in the NFL...a pick 6 to a former Patriot...poetry I tell you...

The Tits...beat the Ravens in their house, clearing the way for a Chiefs matchup in KC for the AFCCG...

There are no excuses. Protect the house fellas. This is our year. If they can't get it done today, they likely can never get it done. One game at a time. Kill the Texans, then win the Lamar Hunt Trophy at home for the first time in franchise history...then it's on to the SB baby...

Holy shit, what a season. Please win today.

Agreed except the part about "if they don't get it done today, they likely can never get it done."

We are in the era of Patrick Mahomes now. We finally have THAT guy. This championship window will be open for 15 years barring career ending injury.

There are scenarios in which we could be better next season than this one.

The rest of the NFL shall despair.

This is our time. The window is open and will not close in February, regardless of outcome.
