REID: “I think I will just let that slide there. That is not where I am at. Probably the wrong question to ask right about this time.”

Q: How comfortable would you be if you got to the point that Mahomes had to start next year?

REID: “I am not there. That is not where I am at. I can tell you what is real and that is he got to play, which was invaluable. He got the chance to be in a room with Alex Smith, which is invaluable. He loves to play the game. He got a chance to play a couple weeks ago and did a nice job with it. I am not there with anything other than that. That is what is real right now.”

Q: If Matt Nagy stays, will you keep him as the primary play caller?

REID: “I don’t know about that part. I thought he did a nice job, but I don’t know about that.”

If Alex Smith is still starting next year I will not attend a single game. Also, if Mahomes starts and we see the same crap play calling I will also not return until Andy is fired.

Andy is pissing me off more every week with his "we've got to do better", "thats on me", and now this "I'm not there yet" and "thats not real".

Andy gave playcalling to Nagy. Offensive production improves. Then Reid calls second half plays and the offense goes to ****. He then pretends Nagy called the plays to decrease his value. Now no team will want Nagy and Reid can keep a good play caller. He threw the playoff game with Alex so he could keep Nagy. Now Nagy can call plays with Mahomes. Nagy/Mahomes>Reid/Alex

They're going to re-sign Keenum. Arizona, Buffalo, and Jacksonville are the teams to watch for a smith trade. All three need a QB and aren't drafting high enough to get one of the top ones
