Yes. Shaw has NFL coaching experience and runs a pro-style offense at Stanford. He's worked under Jim Harbaugh, and has some Chiefs roots (loosely, albeit through his dad who coached in KC.)
And I think I remember you liking Rob Ryan at some point. I could be wrong, but Ryan would restore the aggressive, QB-killing defense we need. |

I think its too early in the season to use McCoy 25-30 times a game. Not till November and December will I expect more production out of McCoy. Its just the right time of season to throw the long ball. That said I'd really like him as HC. Will it happen? not a chance.

The Cowboys are in the bottom half of the league in scoring defense.

The #1 gripe Dallas fans have with Ryan is that he doesn't coach aggressive defenses. they are begging for him to call more blitzes...sound similar?

Need a new GM, otherwise Pioli won't get anyone worthy of a head coach....

I think he's decent but overrated. Not enough balance in his offense. Jim Johnson was the man behind those defenses he had. No thanks I'll pass.

Oh, and I second Rob Ryan, because I'd love to see our defense with that 1-gap 3-4. That said, I think he is the polar opposite of what Clark is looking for in a HC. |

I'm on board.
He fits of the trend of successful coaches who have never won a Super Bowl. Those guys go to other teams and win Super Bowls. Example: Tom Coughlin Dick Vermeil Tony Dungy Bill Belichick Jon Gruden Mike Shanahan Don Shula Andy Reid has one of the highest winning percentages in NFL history, with multiple quarterbacks, and his offenses have almost always been productive. And he's only 54. I would like him to lose 50 lbs.
